Research & notes

What we are building, and what it taught us.

Engineering notes, decisions we had to make twice, and the occasional argument with ourselves. Written while the work is happening rather than afterwards, which is why some of it reads like somebody changing their mind.

  • An agent cannot automate what it cannot see

Most operational work is fragmented across software that was never designed to meet. Automation fails at those seams. Agents do not need unlimited autonomy to cross them; they need boundaries the environment enforces.
